Strong, branching spikes; tall and free blooming. A Dominion Seedling that is described as a better Alcazar. $3.00 each. |

CANOPUS. This is a new variety of the famous "Dominion" race, and may be described as a greatly improved Alcazar; extra large flowers with broad and finely arching standards; colour S. puce to reddish violet, F. rich pansy violet with thick heavy reticulations of Trojana type at the hafts. The base of the segments stained ochre and speckled purplish brown; branching spikes. strong sturdy stem. Height about 3 ft. |
