From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: CAPTAIN'S LADY (Brown 1955) EM. 34 in. (Hit Parade x Pink Formal) x (Sib). A bright new plicata done in a new color combination. Standards are clear orchid and the falls are white with a brushed border of orchid. A bright tangerine beard completes the combination. Bright and cheerful, this is a welcome addition to the plicata class and should be a fine parent. H. M. 1955. 10.00. |
