'Carol E' (Colleen Modra, R. 2007). Seedling# F352-01. TB, height 36" (92 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards rich violet; style arms violet; falls rich violet, lighter at top; beards light violet tipped yellow; ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Déjà Blue' X 'Autumn Thunder'.

| From Impressive Irises catalog, 2007/08: CAROL E (Modra 06) EM 92cm $22. Named for our very dear friend Carol, who used to help us in the gardens. She said her ideal iris was a very ruffled rich violet blue, which this certainly is. But best of all this one of the best fragranced irises we’ve ever grown.
