X 'Autumn Thunder'
| From Impressive Irises catalog, 2007/08: CAROL E (Modra 06) EM 92cm $22. Named for our very dear friend Carol, who used to help us in the gardens. She said her ideal iris was a very ruffled rich violet blue, which this certainly is. But best of all this one of the best fragranced irises we’ve ever grown. Nice branching, good growth, potential for rebloom on alkaline soils as both its parents rebloom. Fertile both ways. (Deja Blue x Autumn Thunder.
