CASA MORENA (De forest, 1943) Each $1.50; 3 for $4.00. Large flowers—yes, extra large—of deep, glistening, rich brown. Same solid color on standards and falls. Styles yellowish; beard brownish orange. Not just a novelty, but a flower that adds an entirely new, rich note to the garden picture. See the accurate picture on page 33—the picture, of course, is much reduced in size. Height 38 inches. HM AIS, 1944; AM, 1946. Cooley's Iris catalog 1952, p. 33.
