'Celebration Song' (Schreiner, R. 1993). Seedling AA 1540-1. TB, 37" (94 cm). Early to late bloom. Standards apricot pink (RHS 36C); falls blue lavender (91D); beards tangerine. 'Lullaby Of Spring' X 'Frances Gaulter'. Schreiner 1993. Honorable Mention 1995; Premio Firenze 1996; Award of Merit 1997; Nelson Award 1997; Wister Medal 2000; American Dykes Medal 2003, Nelson Award 2008.

From 1993 Schreiner catalog: CELEBRATION SONG (Schreiner 1993) EML 37. See our photo below and celebrate the joyous gaiety of this remarkably vigorous pink bitone. Its zesty apricot-pink standards nicely complement the ruffled blue-lavender falls. Note how the color pales at the center of the falls, accenting the bright tangerine beards. Celebration Song produces strong branches with three to four stems and 9-12 buds. HC '92. Seedling # AA 1540-1. $40.00

  • I've never grown a more prolific iris. We're in Spokane, Washington. It's beautiful and hardy and the clumps grow to five feet across even with lots of thinning out every couple of years. -- WikiGuest - 01 Jun 2022
