Hall seedling# 54-11. Mission Gardens 1961. High Commendation 1957; Honorable Mention 1962; Judges Choice 1963, 1964; Award of Merit 1964.

CELESTIAL GLORY (Mission Gardens 1961) Large full flowers. Color, orange or golden tan with bright red beard. Beard is surrounded by a creamy halo. The broad domed standards are waved and ruffled. Falls are very broad, flaring and nicely arched at the haft and ruffled at the base. Substance of the flowers is extra heavy. Branching average. Height 36". This is one of the "best quality" iris we have introduced. $20.00. (Mission Gardens, 1963).

Charles '61) was on its last few buds but was still quite a lovely color in bright orange with falls slightly lighter, more of an apricot orange with quite a noticeable yellow influence around the edges; beard a bright red. The standards have a pinkish coloring on the backs of the midribs that is quite lovely."
