'Chapeau' (Sanford Babson, R. 1969). Seedling# R145-2. TB, 38" (97 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Color Class-YP4VRP. Standards beige cream; falls pink-orchid; orchid beard. Seedling# 09-4 ('Amethyst Flame' x seedling# L98-1) X 'Apropos'. Melrose Gardens 1971. High Commendation 1969; Honorable Mention 1972; Judges' Choice 1973; Award of Merit 1974.
