1966, Gaskill

'Charming Co-Ed' (Ferris Gaskill, R. 1965). Seedling# 2764-1. TB, 36" (91 cm), Early midseason bloom. Color Class-ROlL, Light orange with pink cast; deep orange beard. Gaskill seedling# 61-3 pink (from D. Hall pink seedlings) X 'Homecoming'. Greenbrier 1966.

From AIS Bulletin #181 April 1966 Introducing CHARMING CO-ED #2764-1. Each $25.00. From Hall pink seedlings X Jeanette Nelson's HOMECOMING. Beautiful large, light orange self with deep, wide, orange beard. Gracefully ruffled and laced. Closed standards, broad semi-flaring falls. Extra heavy substance. Adds vigor, height and open branching to this popular color class. Fertile both ways. H.C. 1965. Early to medium, 36". Greenbrier Farm.
