'Cheri Nobyl' (Les Fort, R. 1990). Seedling# 84-56-A. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled smooth satiny pink; beards bright cherry; slight fragrance. 'Playgirl' X ('Pink Sleigh' x Richardson seedling# 75-26-2: ('Pink Taffeta' x (('Celestial Snow' x 'Blushing Beauty') x 'Cloud Ruffles'))). Fort Iris 1991.

From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing Cheri Nobyl (Fort '91) TB, 36 inches, Mid. Season, 8-10 buds, EC, Seedling No.: 84-56-A. This regal heavily ruffled, clean, satin pink iris delivers a royal procession of bloom at the height of the season showing off the crown jewel of cherry red beards. Excellent in proportion this prolific flower has a slight fragrance befitting it's heritage. $25. Fort iris Gardens.
