1968, Plough

'Chief Moses' (Gordon Plough, R. 1967). Seedling# 62-60-10. TB, 38" (97 cm), Early to late bloom. . Color Class-YO3D, Standards rosy plum-brown; falls golden brown with lavender tones which lighten and get more golden as flower ages; orange beard. Sibling to 'Kachina Doll' X 'Serene Serenade'. Eden Road 1968. Honorable Mention 1970.

  • Hmmmm.....I just uploaded my photo from the Eden Iris catalog from 1970 of Chief Moses and I question the correctness of the other two photos. The McQueen photo looks like an airlbred and Mike's photo just doesn't look even close to mine. -- DavidPotembski - 2014-08-14
