'Chinook Arch' (Thomas Johnson, R. 2006). Seedling# Tu267A. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards medium yellow, peach buff infusion up midrib; style arms peach; falls blue violet central wash blending to peach band, intense peach hafts; beards orange; slight fragrance. Seedling# R131C: (seedling# O6AA: ('Sultry Mood' x 'In Town') x P. Black seedling# D84AA: ('Mysterious Balance' x 'Pioneer Woman')) X 'Chasing Rainbows'. Mid-America 2006. Honorable Mention 2009.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: CHINOOK ARCH -TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason. In winter, the warm, multi-hues of the Chinook Arch at sunset fortell of a warmer, sunny day ahead. Ruffled and lightly laced standards are golden-yellow blushed peach. Falls have antique gold hafts and sanded buff areas beside vibrant yellow-based orange beards that terminate in slight hooks. Pendant shaped orchid centers are blended into wide, brassy-gold margins. Strong plants provide a rainbow of lovely blooms. Sdlg.
