'Chosen Beauty' (Mrs. F. Allen (Frances) Brown, R. 1967). Seedling# 61-88-2. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Color Class-W4V, Standards white; falls pink-orchid, ruffled and fluted; faint chartreuse glow on hafts; same color beard, tipped white. 'Henry Shaw' X ('Lovely Diana' x 'Lovely Diana'). Landsend 1967.

From AIS Bulletin #185 April 1967 Introducing CHOSEN BEAUTY (Mrs. F. Allen Brown '67). 36". M. White standards, delicate pink-orchid falls, beautiful ruffied and fluted petals, full rounded flowers of excellent form. This is really a stunning iris. There is a faint chartreuse glow on the hafts; same color beard, tipped white. This one will stand adverse weather conditions, with strong sturdy stems. 61-88-2. HENRY SHAW X LOVELY DIANA X LOVELY DIANA. HC 1966. $25.00. Landsend Gardens.
