'Christening Party' (Neva Sexton, R. 1974). Seedling# 26-67. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Heavily laced cream with gold edge on falls; golden yellow beard. ('New Frontier' x seedling# 127-63) X ('Golden Sensation' x 'Rainbow Gold'). Sexton 1974.

From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing CHRISTENING PARTY (Sexton '74). M, 36". (New Frontier x 127-63) X 63-65. A frilled, fluted and heavily laced beauty of elegant form. A cream self with a golden yellow beard. Falls have a gold laced edge. Well branched stalks with nine to twelve blooms. $20.00. Sexton's Iris Garden.
