From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: CITRONELLA (Bliss) $7.50. This is the very best yellow Iris from England. Its carriage is perfect, and so are its standards, but the falls are somewhat of a disappointment, as they are smaller than they should be, and show too much of a dark shade to permit the variety to be called a perfect yellow Iris. It is in very great demand among breeders and collectors.
