From AIS Bulletin #153, April 1959. Introducing CLARUTH (Cleaves) Snow Flurry x Blue Shimmer. Our friend, Mrs. Edith Cleaves, named this big, bold, claret-colored flower for us and we are proud to introduce it for her--our first introduction of any origination except our own. The blossom has the Snow Flurry ruffling and the 46" stem has four well-placed branches and terminal with three huds in each socket. A vigorous grower and should he an interesting parent. Fertile both ways. Mid-season to late. $15.00. Rees Iris Garden.
