1992, Schreiner

'Classic Look' (Schreiner, R. 1992). Seedling# AA 2169-C. TB, 36" (91 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Ruffled white (RHS 155D) ground plicata with blue (94A) markings; beards yellow, tipped blue. 'Go Around' X seedling# T 1800-1: (seedling# C 1080-3: (('Full Circle' x 'Rococo') x ( 'Arpege' sibling x ('Rococo' x 'Emma Cook'))) x 'Spinning Wheel'). Schreiner 1992. Honorable Mention 1994; Award of Merit 1996.

  • Multiplies quickly in our gardens! -- IrisWarehouse - 15 Jan 2013
  • TB 'Classic Look' was blooming at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately May 31 - June 10, in 2017. I didn't notice any Purple Based Foliage at the base of the leaves, but there was some purple coloring on the spathes. -- HollyJohnson2017 -04-01 - 15 Aug 2017
