Codicil means something added-in this case the very dark beards. Wide, flaring form with ruffles. Excellent show stalks with 8 to 11 buds. 660-20: (Appalachian Spring x Navy Strut) X Evening Echo. Unfortunately, as a typical EVENING ECHO child, the branches are close to the stalk, but the branch flowers open properly."
