1985, Tompkins

'Comanche Drums' (Chet Tompkins, R. 1985). Seedling# 79-43A. TB, 37" (94 cm), Early midseason to very late bloom. Standards dark champagne; falls deep red violet, flushed violet toward edge, purple red midrib; brassy beard; lightly ruffled. Seedling# 77-16: ('Cimbay' x 'Treasure Key') X seedling# 77-48: ('Cimbay' x (('Camelot Rose' x 'Licorice Stick') x 'Latin Lover')). Cooley's Gardens 1985.
