From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: CONCHOBAR (Bliss). Dominion Seedling. Color, rich purple, with a slight approach toward red. This late blooming Dominion Seedling is similar to Cardinal, but has a trifle more red in its falls than that variety. Conchobar has been making excellent growth in our garden and evidently produces more increase than many other Dominion Seedlings. One of the very best varieties. $20.00. |
