Coral Beauty' (O. David Niswonger, R. 1981). Seedling 57-77. TB, 34" (86 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Standards near white; falls apricot to peach; tangerine beard. 'Coral Strand' X 'Peach Spot'. Cape Iris 1981. Honorable Mention 1984.

From Cape Iris Gardens catalog, 1980: CORAL BEAUTY (Niswonger '81) Sdlg. 57-77: Coral Strand X Peach Spot, TB, 34", (86 cm), Early-Mid. , 9 buds, W05/06, Fertile both ways. If you are hybridizing pink amoenas, this is one you will want to use. It has produced some very vigorous seedlings with nice contrasts. The near white standards make a nice contrast to the peachy apricot falls which are edged with white. It has a tangarine beard which is quite evident in the large flower. $25.00
