'Coral Joy' (O. David Niswonger, R. 1989). Seedling# 50-83. TB, 33" (84 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards white, hint of pink on midrib; falls white, blushed pink around beard; white beard tipped tangerine. 'Coral Light' X 'Coral Beads'. Cape Iris 1989.

From AIS Bulletin #273 April 1989 Introducing CORAL JOY (Niswonger '89) Sdlg. 50-83: Coral Light X Coral Beads. TB, 33". M. A continuation of one form of the pink amoena line. The ruffled semi-flaring falls present the feeling of flight. The color is sparkling white with a blush of pink at the hafts. White beards with a frosting of tangerine. Fertile both ways. $30.00. Cape Iris.
