From Schreiner’s catalog, 1953: CORDOLON (Schreiner 1953) L. 42". Dramatic, yet restrained, the exquisite color harmonies of this fine rose blend give us an imposing iris in the late blooming group. CORDOLON possesses the caressingly soft appearance of silk as well as its subtle smoothness, yet withall boasts an extra heavv substance. The illustration on page 8 reveals its warmth, poise and grace. A very large flower. No. G328. $12.00.
