From Quality Gardens catalog 1930: CORONATION (Moore, 1927) M. 44" Very tall on well-branched stems. A yellow self color. A deep rich golden yellow. Of the greatest substance, it does not fade or deteriorate in the hottest sun. Large flowers. It is strong and hardy and a very profuse bloomer. Everyone who has seen it is very enthusiastic over it. $4.00.
CORONATION. For those who do not feel like investing in the newer yellows offered in this list because of the higher cost, we sincerely recommend CORONATION. It is a uniform deep yellow; absolutely hardy, doesn't fade, and compares well with irises of recent introduction in other colors. Our large stock has been built up to meet the demand which we felt sure would come when growers realized the value of this yellow. Each $1.50; three for $3.75; ten, $10.00. Cooley's Wholesale pricelist, 1932.
