'Cozy Carol' (Evelyn Kegerise, R. 1980). Seedling# 74-74-2. TB, 32" (81 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards rose pink, raspberry infusion at base extending partway up midrib; falls medium red violet, edged deeper; red beard; ruffled. 'Touché' X seedling# 72-103: (('Pink Taffeta' x 'Irish Lullaby') x P. Smith seedling). Evelyn Kegerise 1981.

From AIS Bulletin #242 July 1981 Introducing COZY CAROL-Sdlg. 74-74-2. TB, 32", M-L. Ruffled, nicely formed rose-pink standards are infused raspberry at base of midribs. Ruffled, round, flaring falls are medium red-violet, banded deeper color of the falls. Bright red beards. Stalks are reliably well branched, bearing 7 to 9 blooms. We think this variety is nicely different. Average increase. Fertile both ways. $25.00. Evelyn Kegerise.
