'Crinkled Beauty' (Schreiner, R. 1960). Seedling# N-540-1. TB, 38" (97 cm). Midseason bloom. Color Class V3, Standards delicate orchid-mauve; falls same with pinker cast. (('Chérie' x seedling# F 315) x 'Crispette')) X (seedling# F315 x Lapham seedling). Schreiner 1961. Honorable Mention 1962; Judges' Choice 1962, 1963.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: CRINKLED BEAUTY (Schr. '61) M. 38 in. (((Cherie x Chantilly Sdlg.) x Crispette) x (Chantilly Sldg. x Lapham Sdlg.) Soft orchid pink with a bright silvery lilac overtone. Large and broad petaled, this has the heaviest lace of any iris to date . H.M. 1962. NET 20.00.
