'Darktown Strutter' (Chet Tompkins, R. 1977). Seedling 72-281. TB, 45" (104 cm), Midseason to very late bloom. Satiny white ground plicata with broad purple-black border; fluted falls; blue-violet beard. From long line of dark plicata seedlingd involving 'Dark Halo', 'Full Circle', 'Masked Ball', 'Dot And Dash', 'Ribbon Round', 'Flag Ship', 'Roulette', 'Storm Warning', 'Easy Street', 'Gathering Storm', 'Charmed Circle'. Fleur de Lis 1975.
