'Day's End' (Helen Reynolds, R. 1970). Seedling 43-64A. TB, 33" (84 cm), Early midseason to late midseason bloom. Standaards blending of pink, gold and lilac-blue (greyed lilac-pink effect); falls same; lemon beard. 'Nude with Orange' X 'Hidden Fire'. El Dorado 1970.

From AIS Bulletin #197 April 1970 Introducing DAY'S END (Nude With Orange X Hidden Fire). 33", EM to L. The beautiful pinks, lavender-grey and gold in our twilight sky blend to make up the smooth mauve color of this lovely broad ruffled flower. A rather short but well-branched stem with many flowers of good substance. $20.00. El Dorado Iris.
