2002, Cadd

'Deep Dive' (Anna and David Cadd, R. 2002). Seedling 60-93-1. TB, 39" (99 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards marine blue, midrib deeper, small silver border; style arms same, touched lavender; falls deep reddish marine blue purple, center darker and velvety, lighter blue around beard; beards deep violet purple, hairs tipped bronze; lightly ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Jean Hoffmeister' X 'Touch of Bronze'. Cadd 2002.)

From AIS Bulletin #325 April 2002 Introducing DEEP DIVE: (Cadds 2002). TB. 38-40" (97-102 cm.). ML. Standards are marine blue, deeper at midrib, ruffled and crinkled, with tiny silver border, style arms same, with touch of lavender. Falls are deep velvety reddish marine blue purple with lighter blue zonal area. Deep violet purple beard, tipped bronze. This iris need to be viewed in late evening!!.
