'Délectation' (Stéphane Boivin, R. 2015) Seedling 10-04-17. TB, 39.5" (100 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards light salmon, paler midribs; style arms pale salmon, lighter crest; Falls white blending to light salmon edge; beards orange in throat, white with orange tips in middle, white ends. Sibling to 'Nuage De Lait'. irrisitible 2015.

| From Irrisistible 2017 catalog: "Fleur sculpturale, énorme, aux ondulations marquées. Pétales serrées d'un saumon clair. Sépales de grande envergure blanche avec un pourtour saumon. Fleur à la texture épaisse. Bonne plante : feuilles larges, développement correct. Hampes d'un gros diamètre, parfaitement armé pour soutenir des fleurs impressionnantes. Etagement des boutons sur 4 niveaux (au moins), chaque poche de boutons comportant le plus souvent 3 fleurs (triple sockets). Il faut au moins un jour et demi pour que GRANDIOSE développe son impressionnante voilure. Pour nous, un iris grandiose qui nous a marqué dès le premier jour où il a fleurit." |
