From Fleur De Lis catalog, 1956: DESERT FLOWER (Sass 1955) M. 35 in, ((Tiffany x Orloff-F3) x ((Orloff x Tiffany) x Blue Plic. Sdlg.)) x ((Tiffany x Orloff-F3) x (Tiffany x Orloff)). Reminiscent of a plicata marked Lady Mohr, this has the same color combination. The standards are near Oyster white with faint blue flushes and the falls are light creamy buff, flushed lemon and pale blue with deeper buff sandings. The flowers are large and heavily ruffled .
