1960, Hall

'Dot And Dash' (David Hall, R. 1960). Seedling 56-13. TB, 32" (81 cm). Midseason bloom. Color Class V2, Standards deep violet; falls white, wide border same as standards. Seedling 53-30 X seedling 53-25. Cooley 1960. Honorable Mention 1960, Award of Merit 1962.

From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: DOT AND DASH (Hall '60) EM-34". Almost solidly colored blackish violet standards and bright falls of pure white with blackish margins. Peppery effect on outer edge of falls. Flaring, ruffled blooms on strong well-branched stalks. HM'&O, AM'62. Regularly $8.00; on $10 order $6.80; on $25 order $5.95.
