From AIS Bulletin #169, April 1963. Introducing DREAM MAIDEN (E. Smith 63) 61-811 (Idaho Gold X Alice Lemen) 35 in. Lacy buds open into a flower with lacy ruffled standards, falls and style arms. Standards bright buff-yellow. Frilly falls are blue-white. Reverse of falls are bright gold with a crimped edge turning up enough to give the falls a tiny lacy gold edge. Blooms are well placed. Nice foliage and a fast multiplier. $25.0. Smith's Iris Garden. |
