From Treholme Gardens catalog 1928: DUCHESS SARAH (Yeld 1924) E. 92 G. 89 42" M. S. to L. S. bright violet; F. rich bright bluish-violet; fine orange beard. Resembles Halo but richer and more brilliant coloring. A strong vigorous and free flowering variety produced on tall well branched stalks. A large flower of good substance that is quite outstanding being one of the more brilliant among the light blue bicolors. 10.00. |
