■(TB) 'Duncan's Smiling Eyes'

2003, Lauer

'Duncan's Smiling Eyes' (Larry Lauer, R. 2003). Seedling 448-31. TB, 34" (86 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards light lobelia blue (RHS 91D); style arms cornflower blue; falls hyacinth blue (91B), dark violet veining and center stripe; beards blue violet at end to yellow, base orange, orange in throat; ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. Seedling 91-186-2: ('Blue Ballet' x 'God's Handiwork') X 'Special Feature'. Lauer 2003. Honorable Mention 2005; Award of Merit 2007.
