'Duraglow' (Opal Brown, R. 1991). Seedling 82-6B30. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled, lightly laced yellow (RHS 12A), white area veined yellow below yellow (12A) beard. 'Big Dipper' X seedling 78-4A20: ('Bride's Halo' x (('Grandiflora' x 'Arctic Flame') x 'Buffy')). Brown's Sunnyhill 1991.

From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing DURAGLOW (0. Brown '91) TB. Tall, widely branched bright gold. Stands domed; wide, semi-flaring falls of same color with white area below thick gold beards. Character veining of same gold color adds distinction. All petals ruffled with lightly crinkled edges, 7 buds. Involving Big Dipper, Bride's Halo, Grandiflora, Arctic Flame and Buffy. $30.00. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens.
