From Cooley's Gardens Iris Fancier's Standard Reference Book, 2000: EBONY ANGEL (Larry Johnson 2000) TB Midseason 38" (96.5cm). $45.00 Combining lines of black irises gives us this exotic, ruffled introduction. The classic , stylized form is emphasized with the royal purple black color. Lightly washed with a bluish cast. Deep blue-black beards. Heavy substance and colossal ruffles on this ebony beauty. Seven to nine buds on tall, sturdy stalks. Heavy increaser. SDLG J094-68-1.
