1997, Maryott

'El Cerrito' (William Maryott, R. 1997). Seedling U161A. TB, 35" (89 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards and style arms light mineral violet (RHS 84D), midrib slightly darker; falls deep velvety beetroot purple (71A), 1/8" lighter maroon rim; beards brick red; ruffled. 'Cherry Glen' X Ghio seedling 88-5: ('Costa Rica' x seedling 86-29F, 'Tempting' sibling). Maryott 1997.
