From Tempo Two catalog, 1993: ELECTRIQUE (Blyth 93 Aust) VE-L 38". This caused us much excitement and joy when it first bloomed 4 seasons ago because it was such a departure in colour and well on the way to a blue bearded pink amoena, which was the original aim of the program it came from. The standards are pale icy blue; falls are best described as slate rose or mulberry slate. Beards are intense tangerine bronze looking tangerine black from a distance. Flowers are horizontally flared and have a spicy fragrance. Electrique can have up to 15 buds per stem giving it a very long bloom season. It grows very well and makes good increase.
