1989/1990, Blyth

'English Charm' ( Barry Blyth, R/ 1989). Seedling Q113-2. TB, 34" (86 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards cream, veined lemon; falls smooth light apricot, 1/4" cream edge; tangerine beard. ( 'Love Chant' x 'Festive Skirt') X 'Cameo Wine'. Tempo Two 1989/90.

From Tempo Two catalog, 1989: ENGLISH CHARM (Blyth 89) M 34" Sdlg 0113-2. This is a sister to the popular Magharee. Standards are cream veined lemon; falls are smooth light apricot with a 1/4" band around the falls of cream. Beards are tangerine. Branching is a little tight for showing, but it is a spectacular garden Iris because of its vast amount of bloom with a high bud count and quick increase. ((Love Chant x Festive Skirt) X Cameo Wine). $20.00.
