'Excel Blue' (Royal Johnson, R. 1986). Seedling 0-75. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards medium dark blue; falls blue; yellow beard tipped light blue; heavily laced and ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. 'Royal Thalia' X seedling K-81A: ('Peach Beauty' x ('Peach Beauty' x seedling 65-31)). Royal Iris 1987.
