From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2014: FABULOUS FORTUNE (Black ‘14) TB Early-Midseason 35” (89cm). ‘Fabulous Fortune’ is a dramatic example of the emerging pattern of three bands of color in the standards. It serves as testament that we haven’t “done it all” yet. Centers of auburn standards blend to mid orchid bands, veined darker, and then to lighter auburn outer bands. Auburn style crests are striped dark brown. Plush brown black falls givea solid base for those colorful standards. Deep marigold beards are the perfect accent. Show branched stalks have 9-12 buds. Sdlg. R117C: (Bold Encounter x Foreign Legion) X ((On the House x Romantic Evening) x High Master). $55.00. |
