1959, Plough

'Fairy Goddess' (Gordon Plough, R. 1958). Seedling# 53-121-24. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-W1, Standards warm white, center flushed aureolin yellow; falls white with aureolin hafts; aureolin-yellow beard. 'Alice Lemen' x 'Truly Yours'. Eden Road 1959.

From AIS Bulletin #153, April 1959: Introducing FAIRY GODDESS-M. 38 in. (Alice Lemen X Truly Yours). Large ruffled flower with petal edges lightly laced. Color is warm white. Center of standards flushed yellow and hafts of falls S9me. Beautiful candelabra branching. $20.00.
