From R. Wallace Co. catalog, 1922: FAITH (Bliss, 192l). A purple bicolor, late flowering and of a very clear distinct violet. Flowers of medium size with circular and drooping falls, velvety, and of a deeper tone than the standards, shading to a lighter colour at the margin. 2ft. This variety was last year described under the name of Leone Trenance. C IV. 3/- each. |
From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: LEONE TRENANCE (Bliss 1922). An early and an exceptionally free flowering variety. S. pale lavender; F. slightly darker tone and much reticulated. A vigorous plant with strong, erect stems. 36 inches. Its free blooming and excellent growth make this a desirable Iris for landscape plantings. 75 cts. each; $2.00 for 3. |
