'Fancy Feather' (Tell Muhlestein, R. 1952). TB, 36" (91 cm), Late midseason bloom. Color Class-Y2, Light tan and maroon. 'Rare Marble' X seedling# 46-49A: 'Salar' x 'Gold Ruffles'. Tell 1952.

From Easy Breeze Gardens catalog, 1956: FANCY FEATHER (Muhlestein '52) 36". Our first listing of this fine plicata. Standards are golden-tan and falls are medium yellow bordered bright mahogany-red. $3.00.
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: FANCY FEATHER (Muhl. 1952) M. L. 36 in. Rare Marble x (Salar x Gold Ruffles). An extremely brilliant new bitone plicata that really stands out. Standards are clear light golden tan and the falls are clean, medium yellow with a brilliant border of red. Should be a very interesting breeder for plicatas, blends, yellows andl pinks. 3.00.
