From Tell’s Iris Gardens catalog,1959: FASHION SHOW (Melba Hamblen, Roy, Utah).Early-Late. 36 inches. (Helen McGregor x Hit Parade.) X (Mary Randall). Truly a glorified Grand Canyon. Actually the color is violet with mauve shadings. Glittering gold dust extending from the hafts covering much of the fall petals. Some ruffling; the standards are closed and the falls are wide and flaring. Beard is bright orange. Branching good and stalks are heavy. H.C. '58. No. 53-18-1...$20.00 |
