From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: FIRST SNOWFALL (Austin '62) ++ 32". When you have this new Iris in your garden, your First Snowfall will come well before win-ter--probably in Oct. May give up to 100% re-bloom in mid fall, perhaps even in Sept. A leathery pure white that easily surpasses our best re-blooming whites, such as Autumn Snowdrift and Lady Moon in size, form and especially in the pristine purity of its whiteness. Like a re-blooming Snow Flurry. Sometimes reaches colossal proportions, with a flower spread up to 8". (Lady Moon X Canadaway). Regularly $17.50; on $20 order $12.25; on $25 order $9.60. |
