1958, Plough

'Flame Kiss' (Gordon Plough, R. 1957). Seedling# 53-138-38. TB, 40" (102 cm), Early midseason bloom. Color Class-Y4L, Standards white, falls Dresden yellow; tangerine beard. 'Gay Paree' x 'Palomino'. Eden Road 1958.

From AIS Bulletin #149, April 1958. Introducing FLAME KISS-EM. 40 in. (Gay Paree x Palomino). White stds. with yellow base. Falls are yellow. Beard is bright tangerine. Colors are clear and sharp. $20.00. Eden Road.
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: FLAME KISS (Plough '58) E.M. 40 in. (China Gate sib.) A bright, sharply colored amoena with white standards flushed cream at the base and falls of dresden yellow set off by a full red beard. H.M. 1959. 5.00.
