'Foray' (Ben Hager, R. 1960). Seedling# 6T1061. TB, 32" (81 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-R1, Red-toned self; yellow beard. 'Savage' X 'Molten'. Melrose 1961.

From Melrose catalog, 1964: FORAY (Hager) A very wide red with yellow in its make up rather than brown or purple. $3.50.
