From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: FOREIGNER - TB, 45" (114 cm), Midseason. Foreigner comes from a very intersting parentage and brings together the very best of both parents - tall stalks, rock solid vigor and winter hardiness from Hook; lovely form and color from Romantic Evening. Ruffled standards are rich brick-red. Brownish toned black-cherry falls are finished with a paler rims and glittering satin sheen. Closer inspection reveals an extensive network of fine black veins. Yummy caramel-brown beards are the perfect companion. Foreigner is a class act that you will enjoy every year. Sdlg. T208B: Hook X Romantic Evening. $50.00. |
