References:

From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: FORSETE (Goos & Koenemann). A dark lavender self of Pallida type. Strong vigorous plant with unusual branching seems. 36 to 48 inches. $2.00 each.
From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: FORSETE (Goos and Koenemann). S. soft bluish-violet; F. same with a little more violet in its coloring and a few olive markings on a very light violet base. Height 40 to 44 inches. Splendid height for landscape effect. $2.00.
